Philadelphia to Boston

The first leg of my journey is finally completed! One new tire and 8 hours later I got to visit with my nephew and brand new niece. A fine reward for the trials of the day.



And then, because I didn't get a chance to post them before...
My pretrip preparations included some color management.



I called Matt from the side of the road. He had a lot of trouble breaking the tire nuts loose so I didn't feel so bad that I couldn't do it. My efforts turned the wheel (No I didn't jack it up first) and lifted the car but did NOT loosen a single nut.

Luckily this place was open on Labor Day Weekend!
