Keeping Up

It seems like all winter I was struggling to find images to blog and now with the huge influx of Florida photos and spring arriving here I can't keep up.  But as I'm sorting and organizing I find a few more photos of winter to post.  And as I struggle to breathe in the heavily pollinated air I think back to how nice it was to walk in the snow.

I haven't been getting outside as much as I would like.  And then yesterday when I was outside I forgot to bring my camera.  Obviously something is seriously wrong with me.  But I was outside last week and snapped these photos, none of which is really good enough for it's own post.  So here they are all together: a Swamp Sparrow, an immature Cooper's Hawk (pretty sure), my favorite Saw-whet Owl again, and a Great Egret ready for spring sporting his breading feathers.

A Great Day

A great day at Forsythe NWR.  I believe this is an immature Cooper's Hawk but I'll have to check with some experts to confirm.  I have so many more photos to share.  It's taking me a while to get through them all.
