Ring-necked Duck
These are cropped all the way. But I'm amazed at what I can get away with in Camera Raw. Bye, bye iphoto. This Ring-necked Duck is from my second trip to Middle Creek in which we saw no snow geese but had a nice drive and a chat.

Water
A little bit of wind today made for lots of variety in the water. Olivia and I took advantage of her day off and drove up to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area. The snow geese and tundra swans were out in force. We especially enjoyed watching the Ring-necked Ducks and Gadwall (I think) play in the pond alongside the road.
