Ring-billed Gulls
I suspect these guys are responsible for the whitewash the boardwalk got during the shutdown. I'm working with complex patterning in the studio and have even started a painting of an immature gull. That was last week. This week these gulls are all pretty well on their way to their adult, winter coloring. But it's still fun to photograph them.

Laughing Gulls
Saturday I went on a great Skimmer Boat ride with the Heinz Photo Group.
The weather was perfect!! Here we got nice and close to a pair of
Laughing Gulls, one of whom was intent on mating, the other...not so
much.
