This is an in between time.The end of the semester is in sight. At least one entire class of students has stopped pretending to care. I'm considering making that part of their grade. 50% of the grade will be for how good your work is and 50% for apparent interest in what you are doing. The question is can they "appear" to give a shit. I'm afraid not.
Lucky for me a few students who do care have recently gotten in touch with me to tell me how much I helped them. So all is not lost. In the mean time I love this photo of my nephew showing off his skills! And that's my painting in the background.
