Wow!

The show just keeps getting more dramatic and more exciting.  I may have to go next Friday without my camera so I can really watch the show.  The viewfinder limits how I see the shows. 

Good Show

It's going to be a great season.  First of all, the show is going to be good to photograph, obviously my top priority.  Secondly, this is my second viewing and already many great things have been added.  I look forward to seeing the show unfold this fall.

Band Season

Band Season is upon us again.  It looks like Senior year is going to be a great show.  I have high hopes for getting some good shots.  The Freshman year show was good to photograph but Sophomore and Junior year the shows were very spread out and it was hard to get more than a couple people in each shot.  Doesn't look like it will be a problem this year. 

More Signs of Fall

Thanks to my newish job this is the first time I've seen this year's marching band performance.  It was a spectacular performance.  This show is going to be a lot of fun to photograph. 

West Chester Marching Band

While we were waiting for the Cavalcade of Bands judges to tally up their scores we got to see an amazing performance by the West Chester University Marching Band.  It was a very cool fire themed show and these photos are just a few highlights.  

Champs Again

Saturday our band tied for second place at Champs in Hershey, PA.  It was a great show and it's been a lot of fun to watch! 

Tis the Season

Once again our weekends are dedicated to Marching Band performances and competitions.  They have a pretty cool show this year.  And yesterday they actually performed it early enough for me to take photos with light!  Some how (faster memory chip) I'm managing to take 780 photos of each performance compared with last years 380.  Yikes.  I think it's enough to make a movie...

Champs

The championship competition in Millersville was the last time the marching band will perform their train show.  It was a great show.  I only have a few thousand photos of it.  Almost enough to make a movie from still shots!

Marching Band

Our busy weekend included two band performances, a football game Friday night and a competition Saturday night.  Our hard working band took first prize in the competition!  Congratulations Marple Newtown Tiger Marching Band!
