A Little Less Contrast...

I took a foggy walk around Heinz on Friday.  Tough birding when you can't see any color.  There's a cardinal in the second to last photo.

The past few days we've been very busy with indoor activities.  And it's a good thing because the weather has been pretty dismal.  I took this shot at 1:30pm this afternoon. 

October Fog

I love taking pictures in the fog.  Lucky for me Wednesday was a perfect morning for it.  Normally when you look across the top view you can see trees, hotels, and the airport.  Instead it stretches on forever.  And in the bottom photo...I could not figure out why the camera wouldn't focus on the bird.  And then I got home and put the photo up on the screen and I could see the water droplet laden spider web. 

Foggy Morning

We've had so many foggy mornings recently.  I brought my camera along on the drive to school and snapped this picture.  It has a weird feeling of depth but it's also blurry so staring at it for long makes me a bit nauseous.  Olivia was missing the days back in Ohio when early morning fog meant a two hour school delay.  No such luck here.  But if the weather continues to be as wild and crazy as it's been I'm sure she has some snow days to look forward too.
