A Bit More

These photos were taken about 6 hours after my previous post.  I'm back inside and back to my book.

Snow Day

I'm looking forward to spending today curled up with a book.  Seems like a good day to get some reading done with a few breaks to walk in the snow.

Snow Storm

Somehow, even though I've been inside for two days, I've managed not to get to my blogging done.  I've been on a kick to clean and organize which set me up for a tetanus shot.  Note to self, be more careful not to let razor blades fall on the ground where they might wedge themselves under your desk and cut you when you are sliding the power cord for the phone under the desk so your phone will stop crashing to the ground every time you open the drawer.  But at least now I can cross "get tetanus shot" and "fix phone cord" off my list.  Oh, and I also found my flip flops...

Snow

We are having our second snowfall of the season.  No photos from the first storm as I was stuck at work and with my 2 hour (normally 15min) drive home I didn't get home until after dark.  But today I'm back in my happy place, wandering around taking photos of the snow.

Stranded

Our school district sent out an automated call that basically said "Sorry some of the school buses didn't pick up your kids, but don't worry, we won't mark them absent." Seriously??? They left some kids standing in the snow on the side of the road for hours and they're thinking a group message was the way to go??? I think that pretty well sums up the rest of what I have to say about the school district/snow issues. Rumor has it (strictly rumor spread by the kids at school) that one bus drive said "F*ck this." And took the kids he had managed to pick up to school. But since buses were sited sliding backwards down hills who can blame him.

But if you weren't in any of those uncomfortable situations. If you'd already completed your 20min commute in an hour that morning. Then you might be wandering around the back yard taking pictures.
