These are just a few of the fungus and lichen we saw on our hike. Those low light levels do make things harder in the already dark woods. Especially since I really hate to use a flash. So if you take yourself up a mountain in New Hampshire you can look forward to seeing even more tiny treats, some of which, I suppose MIGHT be edible, but I am using "treats" more in the visual sense.
